Hello Debe - I recall this (or at least a similar) device while growing up.  It was fun as well as a chance to show some creativity in preparation, right?  Admittedly, the interest didn't last long and I never acquired one as an adult.  I wonder if my mom still has the one I remember as a child.  I doubt it but now you have me wondering.   🍧

I have seen them but never used one myself, haha.  I remember at my Grandpa's farm, he had a commercial-sized ice maker and it made the best crushed ice ever.

I actually have never seen or used one of those! Now if you found an old ice cream maker, I'd know what it was!

I have never seen one of those, I always used a hammer, or a rolling pin to crush ice, of course the ice was in a tea towel for hygiene reasons.

Wow Debe, I never would of guess that one out, I am glad we had ice machines in my parent restaurant growing up.

Hi Debe- I love this!!!! When I first saw it, I knew what it was!!!!  I can't remember if we had one or if it belonged to my aunt. Don't you love seeing objects like this that bring back memories!!!!   Find us some more!!!! Puh-leese!!!!

Oh yes, Miss Debe Maxwell, CRS the good old days of yesteryear.  I do remember how we made snow cones.  There is something about the "retro" look and feel that triggers such fond memories.
