Kristen Heaney Clark, the creative force behind Yard Bar, has introduced her latest venture, Camp Out, an enchanting outdoor restaurant and bar patio nestled on the Yard Bar property. Launched late last year, this camping-themed sanctuary, located in the Allandale neighborhood, offers a spacious environment accommodating up to 150 guests, complete with fire pits, fans, televisions, and dedicated play areas for children, promising a one-of-a-kind and enjoyable experience.

Head Chef Candace Landberg, previously of Cenote fame, has curated a menu described as "comfort food with a campfire fusion." The offerings span appetizers, salads, mainstays, and even treats catering to the furry friends of patrons.
A standout dish on the menu is the All Nighter, a delectable creation featuring locally sourced ground beef rubbed with espresso, crowned with smoked gouda, sautéed onions, barbecue sauce, and garlic aioli.
Additional mainstays include:
u "French Onion" grilled cheese, melding smoked gouda, three cheese varieties, hatch chili, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions
u Outdoorsy banh mi, presenting a choice of a beef or turkey hot dog, pickled carrots, cucumbers, jalapeno, a cilantro-basil mixture, and sriracha mayo
u Outlaw Black Bean Burger, showcasing a house made black bean patty alongside arugula, tomato, red onion, avocado, and chipotle aioli.
For those looking to unwind, Paul Chapin oversees a well-crafted beverage menu featuring beers, seltzers, ciders, wines, margaritas, cocktails, and mocktails. Cocktail options include the Easy Peasy made with vodka, lemon juice, and carbonated water; the Camp Out Ranch Water made with silver tequila, carbonated water, and lime juice; and Between The Pines with gin, lime juice, tonic water, and a rosemary sprig.
Clark shared her vision for Camp Out, saying, "With Camp Out, we’re creating something that is welcoming and something you want to share with others. We’ve cultivated a place for our neighbors and friends to just kick back, relax, and enjoy a good meal together."
