Happy Day to all...today and tomorrow...and the next day...on and on.
Smile when you are happy and even in the face of adversity!
And smile at the person you see when you look in the mirror...you are awesome!
As for me... I had coffee with my gorgeous and multi-adventurous daughter, Jaime,
this morning at the coffee shop which is an extreme rarity due to her job.
I was so happy to see her walk in as it was unexpected...and my heart melted.
She had to get her driver's license changed to her new last name and was stopping for a to-go cup and saw my truck. Took her 45 minutes to get out of there with her to-go cup...LOL!
Should have taken a photo but she and her Mom get a bit camera shy at times. She also probably should have got this new license a few months ago as her wedding to her cowboy husband, Kody, was 9-30-23.
We had a great conversation and off to work she went...and left me with a smile on my face and in my heart!
Then it was back to work. I spent time chatting on the phone and text with a great long time friend and current client about Hospice while selling real estate and how that works in Nebraska with her Mom going on Hospice today...and what a long, long, and great life her Mom has had...but nature has run its course and the difficult decision has been made.
So explaining the process of going from a POA to PR in the near future and how that impacts the family since we are under contract on her Mom's home. I know her Mom, Peggy, would want it this way if she could choose.
My wife, Robyn, and I are not big on the V-Day process but will attend church this evening for Ash Wednesday and get some ashes on the forehead and say some prayers for family, friends, clients, co-workers, and others.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring in our lives...but for today...I am living with that smile on my face!! I sure hope you are as well!!
Until Next Time... Laugh in the Face of Adversity...It Will Help...I Promise!! Mike
