Friday Flags: Waving High so All Can See in Cocoa FL

A we were driving over the bridge to get to Cocoa Beach, FL. a flutter to my left caught my eye. A building somewhat isolated with a high pole atop and a flag waving for all to see.

Traffic was too heavy for me to stop but I knew I would make the opportunity. 

As luck would have it, I was on my way to a golf course, and I had to exit the highway right where that tower stood.

Friday Flags: Waving High so All Can See in Cocoa FLThe building has a lese sign out front and as there were no cars in the lot, it must not have any occupants as yet.

Hopefully for the owner that is short loved as their mind is certainly in the right place as for being proud Americans.

Kat Palmiotti   That flag could be seen for at least 2 miles away on the bridge span that crosses the river separating the beach form the mainland.

Ah, a Florida flag.  I remember being in that state in 2010.  I didn't have my glasses on, and when I saw a POW flag, I initially thought it was a Pirate flag.

Jeff Dowler, CRS   It is so true. I drove over that bridge a couple of times not able to stop and was thinking how I could get a shot. As I was driving to a golf course, the directions had me take the exit and that building was the first driveway as I exited the highway. Meant to be.
