Friday Flags from The Villages in Florida

Earlier this week, we drove up to the Villages for a meet and greet with Dick Betts 

We enjoyed a pleasant lunch with Dick and his wife Michelle.  Where we were was right off one of the many squares within the Villages, and the parking spaces were all well packed with the common vehicle of this community.

The residents don't drive very far so this type of cart works well for them, and if they should happen to be going to the golf course, the bag holders are there as well.

As we were leaving our lunch meet, we were not more than 2 minutes away from the square when a flutter caught my eye as if to say don't forget me.

It would only be appropriate to have the Friday Flags come right after a meet-up with a fellow Rainer. It makes the trip that much more special.

Wayne Martin   They're the primary mode of transportation and I would venture if you're not in a cart then you don't live there.

Brian England   Car enthusiasts have car shows and I would guess that they get together and have cart shows.

Roy Kelley, you need to find the location that allows you to live that way. You certainly have earned the right.

Dick Betts   I mentioned it to you that I would need to find a flag to give the visit a friendly ending. Being former military I would have to have the insignia as well.
