Los Angeles Metro Area, California Homes Sales & Values Report January 2024

On February 16, 2024, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported the homes values down 1.3% to the price of $750,000 in January of 2024 from price of $760,000 in December of 2023, but rose 7.1% from price of $700,000 in January of 2023 in Los Angeles Metro Area, California. While, homes sales fell 14.6% in January of 2024 from December of 2023, but gained 2.8% from in January of 2023 in Los Angeles Metro Area, California.

There were 3.4 months supplies of available inventory of home in January of 2024, higher from 2.7 months in December of 2023, but lower from 3.8 months in January of 2023 in Los Angeles Metro Area, California.

An average it took 32.0 days to sell a home in January 2024, increased from 27.0 days in December of 2023, but decreased from 41.0 days in January of 2023 in Los Angeles Metro Area, California.

The inventory number catches my eye and seems solid, especially since it has decreased, which tells me that there has been some activity.
