National Margarita Day - February 22

I completely forgot that today was National Margarita Day until I stopped at my favorite Mexican Restaurant, El Salto in Perry Hall on the corner of Ebenezer and Belair Road.

My favorite is a Peach Margarita with a salted rim. It is so good!! But, then again, I like anything peach-flavored.

We started going to El Salto when they first opened in Brooklyn Park about 25 years ago and we've made so many friends there and tonight was no exception. The family-owned business now has 3 locations and every time I go I see family there.

Today they had Happy Hour all Day and I ordered my old standby the Jalisco Special. What's your favorite Margarita?

I missed having a margarita yesterday! I went to a bank opening and they did not serve them! Have to make up for it today! LOL! Glad you were able to enjoy the celebration.
