Did you know ActiveRain has a Zoom call every Tuesday at 2pm EST, 11am PST, 12pm MST and we’ve been doing it every week for the last four years?
Were you aware that we invite speakers each week to fill us in on many different topics? If not, it’s all true!

So how does this relate to this month’s challenge?
Simple:
If you have never attended one of the ActiveRain Zoom calls before, come to at least one Zoom Call in March - on March 5th, 12th, 19th or 26th. If you were invited by another member (see below), they will introduce you briefly, and then we’ll ask you to share a little more information about yourself. If you also answer a fun question either on screen or in the chat function, you can earn extra points. Some ideas of fun questions are below:
- What is the most useless skill you possess?
- If you had to travel in time, where would you go and when?
- What is your secret talent?
- What kind of food would you eat if you could only eat one thing the rest of your life?
- How did you hear about ActiveRain?
- Why did you join ActiveRain?
- Are you a skilled networker?
- Any other silly (or not so silly) question you can think of.
You will get 400 points for your participation in the Zoom call, another 50 points if you answer a silly question and another 600 points if you write a post within the following week about the Zoom call. If you come to more than one Zoom call, you will receive 400 points for each that you attend but only one blog post will receive extra points.
The post needs to be at least 300 words, and include at least one image. You must post your blog link in the comments below to obtain your points.
And for ActiveRain members who HAVE attended an ActiveRain Zoom call in the past:
If you are already familiar with the Zoom calls, you can still participate!
Invite members who have not been on a Zoom call to come to at least one call during the month of March. Please introduce them on the call so we know you invited this member. If they take you up on the invitation, you will receive 400 points. You may invite up to four individuals - you will receive 200 for anyone invited who does not show up (send a message to Eileen and Kat to let them know who you invited), and 400 if they do attend. So the minimum points you could earn if you invite four members is 800 points and the most is 1600. If the person you invite has already been invited by another member, you’ll need to find someone else to invite!

And to summarize the points available for this challenge:
Never attended ActiveRain Zoom call before:
- Each attendance at Zoom call in March: 400 points (up to 1600 points available)
- Answer silly question at first meeting: 50 points
- Write post about first meeting: 300 points
- Maximum points available: 1950 points
Previous ActiveRain Zoom attendee:
- Each invitee to the call who does not attend (200 points, max 800)
- Each invitee to the call who does attend (400 points, max 1600)
