None of the people above are me but I could relate to the guy on the left yesterday as I spent my morning in the hospital for rotatory cup surgery.
The 3 or 4 previous months have had a lot of pain in them for me so I was really looking forward to this surgery. When I met with the surgeon a month ago, after he had a lot of time to evaluate the mountain of data accumulated related to my fall and it's damage, he was sure he could restore my health.
He was mistaken. After surgery I was informed that the damage was greater than expected and I can expect a shoulder replacement in the future.
This surgeon is well known as the best in the area and that is a well deserved reputation. He operated on my knee 20+ years ago and I have not had a bit of trouble since.
My Real Estate tie-in is that no one has an absolutely perfect record if they have been in the business for a good period of time. That is why Dr's and Real Estate professionals have insurance... incase they leave your behind exposed!
And what about those hospital socks? I darn near have a whole drawer of them now and not two pairs of the same color. Have you ever tried wearing a pair for an entire day... geesh.
