Thanks to some longtime "buds" in ActiveRain (Patricia Feager and Eileen Burns) who reached out to me to jump back into ActiveRain after a very long hiatus, I attended a Tuesday Zoom call to reconnect with many wonderfully familiar faces! Been too long and here's why.

It took a nosedive with a huge dam project mucking up the landscape for over a year. The combination of that with assessments and the rise in interest rates, simply caused everything to STOP. I referred my business to a partner with John L Scott whose niche market is a half hour away.
On Golden Rescue, Our large animal non-profit
Instead, I wrapped my head around our non-profit large animal rescue sanctuary, On Golden Rescue. Located on our 14 AC ranch nestled in the coastal range of Oregon, it was all-consuming! All of our 20 animals, which are comprised of regular sized horses, mini horses, mini donkeys and goats (all older, with medical issues) stay with us FOREVER. A labor of pure love and compassion for sure.
Fast forward two years
Still with much to accomplish with On Golden Rescue (OGR) for fundraising, etc. I am now getting the nudge from the universe (and friends at ActiveRain as well as my Fishhawk Lake neighbors who want to list with me), to re-engage in my real estate endeavors!
Feeling like a "Newbie"!
Those who are new members, I feel your angst! Getting on the March 5th Zoom call was sort of like dipping my toe in the AR waters for the first time. Don't be afraid! There is such a HUGE support team of longtime members here who delight in mentoring, connecting (like Margaret Rome faithfully does with new members) and putting a virtual arm around your shoulder to help guide you. Take advantage of their wealth of knowledge and Can Do spirit! Take a further plunge into the ActiveRain waters! You'll have a readymade life jacket of longtime members to help keep you afloat!
