Staying Alive

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Kolsky Realty & Management 01311273

We have the ability to navigate and think our way to success; isn't being human great? Yes, especially for those who navigate well and are wellminded.

The industry might soon undergo some changes. From my understanding, there might be a minor bump or two and a few logistical changes in how Co-ops are handled, but that is it. When things eventually change, in the simplest terms, co-ops will no longer be posted in the MLS, and buyers will sign a contract when working with an agent.

I am going to bet that the ones that put their consumers first provide excellent service and best understand the upcoming changes in our industry will thrive as usual. After all -professionalism is at the core of success. Be professional and watch your success grow.

Now is the time, YOU GUYS. Go out and be the best you can be today! Follow up with past clients, call on potential clients, keep learning about this industry, and blog as best you can.

Speaking of blogging... Blogging earns business, and that's why YOU GUYS shine as well as scream professionalism!

It was so good to see you again, Jon Kolsky!  Yes, they say changes are coming. I did not think they were because we always disclosed and did things the right way, but they will change. Hope to see more of you in the future

Hannah Williams, the cooperating agreement will be disclosed differently, and minor changes will occur. But it will be those who focus on being proactive and remaining professional; they will be on top and continue being a successful agent (IMO)

Thanks for the comment and have a great day😎

Jon Kolsky  Your observation is spot on... I have always put my clients first and hence I have had repeat clients for the past 26+ years, down or upmarket they were there to sell or buy from me... nothing has changed, two in escrow as we speak and 12 listing waiting to go into escrow, Endre

Hello Jon - "change" is a constant companion.  Even when it is not noticed, it lives among us.  In my opinion, your bet that the best will continue to thrive isn't much of a gamble as real estate takes another turn.

There will be some confusion on the part of, well, everyone, but once that clears up, yes, the general business will be quite similar to the way it is now. Great to see you, and that was a fun version of Staying Alive. I have to say the minute I see that title I can see Travolta's shoes. haha.
