Many ibises dropped by our spot in University Park yesterday. They were having a blast munching on breakfast in the rain, ignoring any cars rolling by. They were somewhat shy but didn’t mind me snapping a few pics. I usually spot them hanging out at the Duckpond near the IRWD plant, but seeing them in front of my home was a cool change of pace. I checked the bushes around that area; no one laid any eggs. Maybe they were all boys. Beats talking about annoying e-bikers in Irvine every day.

It is a big deal for city rats like me!

Really nice shot, Deepak! My home in in a neighborhood surrounded by parkland, and we do get foxes and a lot of deer, but never anything like your Ibises!

When I first tread your title line, I imagined "Ibises" to be mythical creatures from a new science fiction movie. I don't believe I've ever seen an Ibis before. I don't recall ever see their name.
