I met our neighborhood Literary Guild ladies at the iconic Brick Oven Pizza restaurant in Provo Utah the other day.

Brick Oven is located right next to the Brigham Young University campus. It is a super popular place to eat, especially for young families as it is cost-effective and they have the option of the all-you-can-eat salad bar, pasta bar, and breadsticks.

I ordered the salad bar and breadsticks. I didn’t order pizza this time. This is not the first time I have been to Brick Oven. When I bring my grandchildren out for Pizza, this is one of the restaurants I take them to. They get the pizza and the pasta bar.

Kent Heaps started a new restaurant in Provo, Utah, in 1956. He changed an old cafe into a pizza place called “Heaps A Pizza.” This restaurant later became known as Brick Oven Pizza.

Brick Oven Pizza makes everything from scratch. Even today, they still make most of their food this way. Customers love their homemade Root Beer and their “Green” Ranch Dressing.

For more than fifty years, Brick Oven Pizza has been a favorite spot for families in Utah.

You have to stop by Brick Oven Pizza! You won’t regret it!


How to Make a Reservation at Brick Oven Pizza in Provo, Utah

Here’s how you can make a reservation or arrange catering services at Brick Oven Pizza:

For Group Reservations:

  1. Go to brickovenrestaurants.com and click Parties.
  2. Fill out the reservation form with:
  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Number of people in your group
  • The desired date for your reservation

3. Click the submit button.

Brick Oven Pizza does not accept reservation requests on Friday or Saturday nights between 5 and 8 p.m.

For Catering:

  1. Go to brickovenrestaurants.com and click Catering.
  2. Fill out the catering request form with:
  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Number of people attending your event
  • Desired date for your event
  • Preferred time for your event
  • Type of occasion (e.g., birthday, corporate event)
  • Type of catering service

3. Hit submit once you have provided the information.

Pizza has to be REALLY bad not to make a go of it.  We can see multiple restaurants fail at a location and then in pops a successful pizza joint.  Nice shout out for Brick Oven Pizza.  m
