Jensen Botanical Gardens in Greater Sacramento

By
Real Estate Agent
One of my favorite places to visit in springtime is Jensen Botanical Gardens. While out and about this morning, I decided to stop by and see what was blooming.

Jensen Gardens has pleasant little trails, picnic areas and benches. It is located at:
8520 Fair Oaks Boulevard
Carmichael, CA 95608.

The Gardens were founded by Charles C. Jensen in 1958. They sit on 3 1/2 acres. They became part of Carmichael Recreation and Park District in 1978.
For more information about Charles C. Jensen and the Botanical Gardens, visit:

Gardens that are professionally staged and maintained are so beautiful and you are fortunate to have this one so close to be able to see it whenever the mood strikes.

Joyce Marsh - They truly were amazing today!  I don't think I have ever seen them looking so beautiful.

Good morning, Myrl... what a beautiful place, Jensen Botanical Gardens. If I lived closer, I'd certainly be out there on a regular basis.

Endre Barath, Jr. - Thank you for your kind words.  I haven't featured my own blogs on my groups, because I'm not comfortable doing so.  Perhaps, one day!🙃

Michael Jacobs - The Jensen Gardens are lovely year round.  But, my visit yesterday seemed extra special.

Nina Hollander, Broker - The Gardens are relatively close to home (within a few moments).  I need to visit more often.

Enjoy your Sunday adventures and have an outstanding week.

We have a high pollen alert this morning so we know that spring has arrived.

Myrl Jeffcoat - the Jenson Botanical Gardens in Sacramento is absolutely gorgeous! The more time I spend reading your blog posts, the more I think, if I had to choose one place in CA to live, I would have to say, Sacramento! Your area offers such a great variety of interesting gardens, restaurants, shops, and things to see and do. I would never be bored.
