Good morning Peter. When I started in the business, the buyer put a home under contract and had 45 days to get a mortgage. It was years before pre-qualified became the rage and a short period of time before it had little credence. Enter the pre-approval letter which I required towards the end of my career before working with a buyer. Enjoy your day.

I had a lender who would refuse to run credit until we had a contract!  Guess what lender I no longer recommend?
