Advice For "Calling on Behalf of Someone"

By
Real Estate Agent with Fathom Realty 8431215

In short, the first contact or phone call is great,   and often warranted.  But subsequent phone calls, texts or appointments need to be with the agent and the client.

You want to be there?  Great, I welcome that, especially if you are there to provide support for your child or parent, or even a friend.

In the past, from experience, the sooner you allow the client to engage, the better the results, and of course, success in me helping them achieve their real estate needs.  Going through a third party typically creates a communication gap,  which is never in the best interest of the client.

And as always, I truly appreciate your real estate referrals!

Right, why aren't they speaking for themselves?     Mom's calling me because their kid is coming into town and bla bla bla, never works out.

I totally agree. The client and agent have got to start communicating right away - hear the needs/desires directly from the "horse's mouth" as my mother used to say.

Making plans with a third party will backfire when you find out that the third party and the principal are not on the same page.
