Thank you Debe Maxwell, CRS and Brad Andersohn for hosting April’s ActiveRain Reconnection Rally - Bring Back the Spark!
This is such a fun challenge! So many names popped in my head. I felt this challenge offered terrific ways to connect with members from the past, that use to be actively posting. The Rain Camps were so inspiring and I remember the one I went to in Houston and met Bob Stewart and Kerrie La Guardia! That was what really captured my attention! I was determined to go the distance learning all I could and implementing my community posts in my marketing.
I’ve love reading the posts for this challenge from members who reached out and even persuaded some back into the fold! I feel that has not been an easy task. I'm enjoying seeing members, like Patricia Kennedy back posting and even bringing back her Sunday series.
I began the process throughout a very busy month and it's proved to be very interesting with many not responding! I finally was able to make connection with Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS from South Puget Sound, Washington! I have a colleague in my office who looks a lot like Paul so I was attracted to his posts and followed him every day. I loved his photos of his area, his listings and sold properties and all his wonderful quotes that were always so appropriate for his photos.
Paul stopped posting and according to our conversation is spending all his time marketing for his business in different forms. He said he found his time better spent working on other marketing endeavors. I asked him how the NAR Lawsuit has affected his marketplace. He said his state has been very proactive and 2 weeks ago their forms have been issued. They have a privately owned system so he is feeling the attorney’s will be advising them on if they can insert the Buyer’s agent commission. I appreciated him taking my call.
It just goes to show you every area of our country is different but there will still be changes...but what else is new?
