At airports, waiting in line inside / outside at your favorite fast-food outlet, digital LED displays use highly effective video marketing displays.
You and I have all seen the steaming hot juicy cheeseburger rotating slowly at a point of purchase counter or self-ordering kiosk.
You can almost smell the hot tasty food. The icy cold shake, sundae or cone swirled high with a sweet temptation asking you a simple question.

Wherever you make a short pit stop to powder your nose. Freshen up the cosmetics. There is a message to scan, retain and a call to action suggestion.
Impressions, paying for 100's, 1000's or more impressions is what it is all about promoting a product, peddling a service. Short, powerful, attractive video point of purchase marketing. Indoors, out doors, it's all around you and I.
This blog post is not a debate on how long or short a real estate video should be.
That is a discussion for another future YouTube Thursday blog post. But consider your property listing buyer and seller are "hungry" for services too. They need missing pieces you provide for their custom made individual real estate puzzle solutions.
Outdoor advertising is a 'hole 'nother application for your video programming.
Unlike a 2000 word blog post, a 10 minute or longer long form YouTube video, the out front of your real estate office display is short and sweet. Has to be because motorists are flying by at usually over the speed limit.
Paragraphs of text, hard to read skinny fonts, no color contrast hurt your message.
Those factors all decrease the effectiveness of your video digital message delivery. The motorist or pedestrian can only absorb so much of a message in the few seconds it shows up in the corner of their eye.
So serve it up in small, eye catching easy to digest bite size video servings.
Keep it simple, easy does it is not a choice, but a given in outdoor display
advertising.
A little animation motion, a GIF or two, the transitions you program all combine to add life to the keep it a simple memorable delivery.

The goal in advertising is to reach a larger audience but also to do it with a level of frequency. So the message sinks in and is remembered without being obnoxious.

This may date me and it can seem like See Dick, See Jane, Where is Puff and Spot. But in your local real estate area, the people who travel by your office every day need to pick up your simple message signal. Keep it small, simple, short.

Video is full motion, and the audio track is not usually a consideration on an outdoor or even some indoor advertising video displays.

But when audio is part of the video, bad audio is less tolerable than not so hot video.
The barking dog, buzzing lawn mower, neighbors fighting or trucks with jake brakes, gusting wind.
None of those help your video presentation.
Removing those distractions and any negatives will help the overall video production tenfold.
