Friday Funday: how do you wear your mask?

By
Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties 01238708

I know it has been four years since the mask mandates came into effect. I have been wearing the mask 80% of the time... Going to the grocery stores I find it is a must as most people are back to their evil ways of sneezing, coughing without covering their mouth.

Rude people try to get in your face like before. Hence, I continue to wear the mask. When it comes going to the office, well you know once every six months to a year I do not wear it, and most people are kind and do give our space.

I do get it cover your nose and cover your mouth. So who do you help out? Probably the person who least expects it, when you sneeze or cough you are probably protecting them... I am hopingwww.endrebarath.com on it might help me as well. On a side note the top photo in the post was on the wall of the Vet Hospital we just visited the other day.

The only place I wear a mask is in my woodshop because I tend to have dust flying all over the place and don't want to breathe too much of it in. Other than that, I haven't worn one unless absolutely required to, and where I live that was extremely rare even in 2020-21-22-etc.

I sometimes see folks that wear their masks below their nose. They only cover their mouths.  In the heat of the pandemic, I wore a mask religiously.

Hi Endre- I haven't worn a mask since some time in 2020 and I'm profoundly grateful we live in Texas where restaurants, retail stores and schools opened up much earlier than other states.

And as someone with upper respiratory issues, wearing a mask made it difficult for me to breathe.

I had helped her get well, took her about four or five days.... now with that said we always believed that she got Covid... Endre

Kat Palmiotti  I wish we still would consider keeping six feet from each other in the grocery stores and putting hands in front of mouth when coughing or sneezing... we all would catch fewer colds and the flue:)Endre

Kathy Streib  I have no breathing issues but totally understand it since I noticed it is harder to breath... so I feel your pain... now for me it is just being a bit attitudey when no one else wears them except for the staff that works in the stores... Endre

I am with the majority, only wore a mask when absolutely necessary.  It was a big shame and made money for those making masks, the plastic barriers are the checkout lines, etc.  Neither my husband or myself (in AZ real estate was an essential business) contracted COVID. I believe it had to do with healthy immune systems and washing the hands multiple times each day. Given the N95 mask still do not keep the COVID virus from coming into the respiratory airways, seeing others wear kerchiefs, bandanas, masks below their noses, smoking wearing mask,  etc. makes me wonder about the human race.

I am not a mask-wearing person.  I only wore it when I had to and I admit, I was one of the rude people that put the mask below my nose so I could BREATHE!
