Ever get excited about a magazine arriving, only to have it show up late or not at all? How about moving and finding out your newspaper keeps showing up at your old place? That happened to me when I moved to Provo Utah! Moving was great, but my magazines and newspapers couldn’t keep up with my new address.

So, in this guide, I’ll share tips from my own moving experience to help you change your magazine, newspapers, and other subscriptions smoothly when you move to Provo Utah.

How Do I Change My Address for Magazine Subscriptions?

Many magazines have websites to log in with your username and password. To update your address online, go to ‘Account Settings’ or ‘Manage Subscriptions’. Follow the prompts to enter your new address and save the changes.

If you prefer not to use the online method, you can contact the magazine’s customer service directly. Their contact info is on their website or in the magazine.

When you reach out, provide your customer number (if available), old address, and new address. The customer service representative will assist you in updating your subscription details.

Don’t forget to check your emails and any renewal notices from the magazine. They often include instructions or links for updating your address and the renewal process.

You can also use apps or services that help manage all your subscriptions together. These services offer features like automatic address updates or reminders for address changes.

Quick tip: Do all these a few weeks before you move. That way, the magazine has enough time to update your address, so you can enjoy your favorite reads at your new address!

How Do I Subscribe to LDS Magazines?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) gives out free copies of its three global magazines in 50 languages for adults, youth, and children.

Who can subscribe?

Any household, regardless of composition, can receive one annual subscription to any or all of the Church magazines: the Liahona, For the Strength of Youth, and the Friend.

Magazine details:

  • Liahona: This magazine is designed for adults and focuses on Church teachings. It shares inspiring articles demonstrating how to apply gospel principles in daily life.
  • For the Strength of Youth: This magazine is geared towards youth. It has spiritually uplifting messages from Church leaders, with stories and engaging activities.
  • The Friend: This magazine was made for children. Each issue includes Bible stories, child-friendly messages from prophets and Church leaders, games, coloring pages, and stories of children worldwide actively putting their faith in Jesus Christ.
