Air-Fried Crumbed Fish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

  • 4 flounder fillets

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • Directions

    1. Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

    2. Place bread crumbs and oil into a shallow bowl; stir until mixture becomes loose and crumbly.

    3. Dip fish fillets into egg; shake off any excess. Dip fillets into bread crumb mixture; coat evenly and fully.Lay coated fillets gently in the air fryer basket; cook in the preheated air fryer until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 12 minutes.
    4. Garnish with lemon slices; serve.

This looks so yummy! I love my air fryer too but my preheat is at 400 degrees and if I cooked those 12 minutes they would be way too done! I guess every air fryer is different and you have to experiment with the cooking times.

OMG, what an awesome recipe! I will have Will Hamm try this Dorie Dillard Austin, TX. Yes, many air fryers are different. That is unusual that you preheat is at 400 usually it is at whatever temperature you set the cooking time for
