Congratulations to 2024 Graduates

By
Industry Observer 0506509

Congratulations to all the students who are graduating in 2024. So much has happened since before or after you were born. Many of you lived through historical moments too many to count. Your challenges were many and there are still many more challenges to come. I hope you are prepared to meet the adversities and obstacles that are bound to happen successfully with integrity while staying true to your values without giving in to peer pressure. Remember the Golden Rule.

Your family, education, environment, and the impact of historical events has shaped who you are. Our country needs ethical Leadership. I hope you are up for the job that lies ahead. Many historical events may have had an impact on you or your family. Never forget the sacrifices others have made on your behalf. Blame is not the way to succeed. Now is the time to step up to the plate and instill Best Practices.

Continue to develop your skills and learn new ones because they are essential to survive in today's marketplace and the world. Lifelong learning keeps one evolving and growing. May your future be bright and prosperous. The most important keys to success are contingent upon assuming your own responsibilities. Taking accountability for your actions makes a big difference between a winner and a loser. Focus on priorities. Do the right thing. Continue to stretch your comfort zone. You've come this far. You can go further. Extract maximum learning from life experiences. Education never ends. Learn from others and from your own mistakes. Teach others to learn and don't stop learning.

Be proud of your accomplishments and always be grateful to those who helped you on your journey. Success begins with self-respect and confidence. Congratulations, Graduate!

Bill Salvatore - East Valley - I recently met a fine 21-year-old man who told me he missed his 8th grade graduation. It was very difficult to bridge the gap of lock-downs.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - I truly believe lifelong learning is essential for personal growth and education. As a current student at Olli/ UNT (University of Texas), I have learned more about current affairs, real estate issues, such as Home Irrigation Systems for homeowners, Appraisal District Information for the General Public, new technology, history, virtual reality, AI dangers, pros, and cons, and so much more.

I enjoy learning and I am building relationships.

Patricia it is unfortunate that there were a number of graduates who were not able to experience their high school graduation 4 years ago because of COVID, and were also now not able to experience their college graduation because of protests.

George Souto - I have heard from students in Flower Mound who felt how unfortunate it was for them to not be able to graduate when they were in 8th grade, and others who couldn't graduate or socialize with their classmates when they were seniors. It was a terrible disservice to our youth. What's going on now is insane.

Congratulations to all the 2024 Graduates! Your advice to follow the golden rule is so appropriate. You are right the graduates family, education, environment, and  impact of historical events has shaped who the current graduate is. I'm so proud of my grandson's fiancé who just graduated from Baylor Law School at the tender age of 23! She graduated early from HS and Texas A & M and came in third in her law class. Noe its study some more, pass the bar and begin her new job!
