Friday Flags: The Prospect CT Green with No One Around

The center of Prospect CT is a 4-way intersection of state roads. As one takes the tun to drive down RT 68, one can see the Prospect town green, or more specifically the flagpole. As I went down, I caught the flag fluttering in the wind, and I took a detour to see if I could get a good shot.

I caught one with the Veteran's Memeorial in the background.   I felt that If I waited just a bit longer, I could get a better one, and was rewarded.

A crisp breeze, a blue sky for a background and a proud flag to share.

We are a great Nation and yet so many take far too much for granted and have little consideration or knowledge of how we got to this reality.
