April 2024 Market Report for San Antonio, TX

There is good news and bad news for our April 2024 San Antonio Housing Market. Good News for homebuyers is that our median prices are lower as prices have been steadily dropping from last year. Sellers still enjoy a 94.5 % of list price to closing price ratio, but the bad news is the days on the market are longer at 77 days. San Antonio is still a popular place to live in the Texas Tri-Plex of Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio. Average sales price rose to $378, 171 with a 7 percent increase in total sales for the month of April. Inventory has increased to 4.5 months which is heading toward a balance market. Excellent report, Jerry. So far, the Charlotte region's DOM are still around 40 days and out months of inventory is about half of yours, despite more listings.

Yes, Wayne Martin. Depending on the area, the days on the market are worst in some communities. I am wondering if it'll get better going into the summer months.
