Charlotte Ranks FIFTH in the Best Places to Live in the US (2024-2025)

Exciting news for Charlotte! According to US News & World Report, our beloved city has been ranked #5 in the Best Places to Live in the U.S. for 2024-2025.

The city's tourism slogan proudly declares that “Charlotte’s Got a Lot!” The numbers definitely confirm this, showcasing Charlotte's impressive scores in various key categories: job market (#22), desirability (# 26), quality of life (# 34), and value (# 43).

Just ten years ago, finding a true Charlotte native was uncommon. Now, thanks to consistent positive net migration, a new generation of born-and-bred Charlotteans is rising, poised to continue the city's royal legacy.

We also love Colorado Springs, Will Hamm - my brother attended the Air Force Academy and we were there for several events, both before and after his graduation. That part of the country is simply breathtaking!

Hello Debe - surveys like this or any subject are always interesting. Finding the "best" of anything is certainly subjective (and I think each of us can agree on that). I have been only once at the Charlotte Airport, a long time ago, but was very impressed with it, and especially with the friendliness and sincerity of the people I met at a store there.
