If you believe that owning and purchasing a property in Central Florida and the Orlando region is pricey, just consider how much renting a one-bedroom home costs! Hurting! 

     Area of Central Florida The cost of mortgages and rent is rising, and there are few indications that this trend will reverse very soon. The median rent in the Orlando metro region for a one-bedroom apartment was $1,680 last month, according to a Zumper study. 

     The Orlando metro area's highest and least costly cities for rent were listed in the same research. Clermont, Palm Coast, and Orlando have the highest rental rates, while Deltona, Leesburg, and Titusville, have the lowest.

 

Orlando's most costly cities to rent in:

     The most costly city to live in was Clermont, where a one-bedroom apartment costs $1,700. Palm Coast had the third-highest rent at $1,600, and Orlando had the second-highest rent at $1,630.

     According to the research, Clermont experienced the third-highest rent rise among the metro Orlando cities last month, with an increase of almost 2.4%.

 

Orlando's least costly cities to live in:

     Deltona had the lowest cost of living, with one-bedroom apartments costing $1,090. Titusville and Leesburg tied for second place at $1,100 rent each. Ocala's $1,210 rent placed it third.

     Deltona has the fastest-growing rent among the cities with the quickest annual growth, at 28.2% since July 2022. Daytona Beach had a rent increase of 27.6% as well, moving up to second place, after Ocala's 21% increase.

Interesting to see the affordability range in your area. I actually had relatives in Deltona a few years ago.
