Gaithersburg Jubilation Day and Black History Fair

Gaithersburg Black History Fair: Noon – 3 p.m.
Community Museum
Celebrate and explore Gaithersburg’s Black community’s past and present at the Gaithersburg Black History Fair. The event will feature a keynote presentation from scholar Anthony Cohen and a Q&A with Community Museum staff about the project. Learn more here
General parking is available in the parking lot located between City Hall and the Gaithersburg Community Museum. Additional parking options are located here. The Gaithersburg Community Museum parking lot on East Diamond will be reserved as accessible parking.
Jubilation Day: 3 – 7 p.m.
City Hall Concert Pavilion
Gospel music, the uniquely American art form that gave rise to jazz, blues, R&B, and rock and roll, will be celebrated to the highest at the 18th Annual Jubilation Day Gospel Concert.
Enjoy performances of all styles of Gospel, Christian and uplifting music by local and regional artists, including The Sons of God and The Gospel Aires. On-site food vendors include DM Sliders and Frosty Softy. The event will also feature an acknowledgement of the upcoming Juneteenth Holiday. Read more here.
