If a Realtor has at least five years of experience in your local market, has visited your property, carefully examined its features, identified comparable properties, provided a thorough market analysis, and discussed the factors that affect your home's value, you can trust their estimate more than Zillow's. Zillow often gets it wrong, either overestimating or underestimating home values. The platform can't conduct in-person assessments or notice things like outdated bathrooms, worn-out kitchens, or a property’s proximity to a busy road. You simply can't compare the expertise of a seasoned real estate professional to Zillow's algorithm.
