Rodeo Goat Coming to Addison TX

Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart Stars TX #0552717

This is Texas, after all. There are rodeos.  There are probably goats. But Rodeo Goat? What the heck is that?

Rodeo Goat

Rodeo Goat is a restaurant concept developed by owner Shannon Wynne. Moving into the space formerly occupied by Spring Creek BBQ at 14901 Midway Road, the interior will feature the atmosphere of a Texas rodeo. The menu will include burgers, salads, sides, and desserts. And there will be a new 1,700 square foot patio at the front of the building.

Rodeo Goat started in Dallas and has expanded throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. There are other Rodeo Goats in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and Grapevine, among other Texas cities.

The plan is to open as soon as possible. There are crews working on the updates now. And the city council approved a Special Use Permit to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Let's party on the patio in Addison!!!!

Hello Lorrie - okay, now I "get" it and it makes a lot more sense.  There is something quite admirable about the creativity demonstrated in the hospitality industry.

Michael Jacobs I always have to pause to try to remember if the name is Rodeo Goat or Goat Rodeo. Sometimes the creativity goes off the rails.

Sounds fun and tasty to me, Lorrie. Just the kind of event I'd love to attend and I love the unique name for the festival.

Nina Hollander, Broker It does sound fun and tasty. It's a restaurant though, not a festival.

Good morning Lorrie. Rodeo Goat has a track record of success in other locations, so it likely will be no different here. Party on once it is opened. Enjoy Rodeo Goat!

Hmm, that is an interesting name for a restaurant, it makes me wonder if goat meat is a thing or if it's just their milk, haha.

Brian England Neither goat meat nor goat milk. It's just part of the name.

Hi Lorri,
You piqued my curiosity with the Title. My husband grew up on a farm in southern Alberta and loved Rodeos (and all things western). We went to our share of rodeos but I've never heard of a Goat Rodeo, though. LOL  Perhaps, in this case G.O.A.T. means "Greatest Of All Time".

Carol Williams The first rodeo I went to was the Calgary Stampede when I lived in Montana back in the 70s. I'm taking the name to mean Rodeo Clown, but with a goat instead of a clown.
