Tell Me More About ActiveRain
Since 2006, when I joined this platform, I have been charmed by its blogging capabilities. Initially, I used it to write about my properties and the interesting places I visited. There were so many subjects to cover every day but so little time to write about all of them. I would use the photos from the day's outings with my camera. Do you remember when we carried those things? Each evening, I would choose a picture and post it. If I was interesting enough to capture, there was a story, and it was perfect for uploading and writing a paragraph or two.
My listings get a lot of attention, from coming soon to active to too late and sold. I would share this with my clients. That hasn't changed. If a home has a unique feature, a story to tell, an exciting showing, or maybe even someone's art collection, it gets blogged.
In the early days of ActiveRain (AR), I used to write blog posts about our visits to our favorite restaurants. I would print out the write-up, laminate it, and then give a couple of copies to the owner or manager. They appreciated it and often displayed it prominently for all to see when we returned for a meal. (I wonder why I stopped doing that.)
Active Rain has always been the platform for learning, teaching, and sharing with others. We have shared this knowledge for over four years while meeting with members each week. To find out more

Rainers call my radio show to discuss real estate topics. It's a fantastic opportunity for referrals. I often receive calls after the show from listeners who appreciate the insights from other real estate professionals. Some are looking for an agent in their area and trust my referrals.
