Ed I don't think my wife and I have anything planned this weekend, so I am going to try to go to this festival.

Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 - I never heard of a Festival like this before and I never tasted Lebanon food. Isn't this interesting. And it sounds like you tempted George Souto and his wife too!

I hope you go and meet up. It would be nice!

Patricia Feager, ABR,CRS,GRI,MRP   The Northeast is a map of ethnicities so events like this are very common. The Greek church in Waterbury has its annual Mother's Day festival, the polish church does the same. There are several Italian clubs that run big events and it is the same in the other large towns in the state

Good morning, Ed... do you have a large Lebanese population in your area? We just had a similar event for Armenian food (very similar, actually).

Good Morning Nina Hollander, Broker   I would guesstimate that the area may have 200+ families and enough strength to support the church, a club, 3 restaurants and it is similar in Danbury, Torrington and Hartford. Each area would be regional as are the locations in the home country.

Kat Palmiotti   This even and the events run by the other ethnicities all get a lot of action as people in the areas look for the uniqueness of the food.

Hmm, good food and a belly dancer, seems like an event that I would not want to pass up if I were there, haha.

Hi Ed:

Sounds like a fun and tasty event and fundraiser. Sounds a lot like the big Greek Festival in Cardiff by the Sea in September. Have fun!
