I have read other quotes with the same message but never heard this one from Laurence Shames..I love it! I too found my second marriage was the best thing that happened to me. That first failure helped me trust again and I would have never had 25 blessed years with my Geno if I hadn't failed the first time.

HI Thomas and Whiskey...another hit!!! It's not a failure as long as we pick ourselves up and keep going AND if we learn from it. I have only been married once but stayed too long (6 years) with my first boyfriend.   It broke my dad's heart when we broke up however it freed me up to be ready for meeting Larry. We've been together 47 years. 

Ailina Nelson is such a wonderful person, you definitely hit a home run with her!

I'm glad Kathy included this in her weekly post because somehow I missed it. And yes to your message. Deciding something isn't working, for example a relationship, is only a failure if we wallow in all the negative aspects. If we use it to improve our life then it's a stepping stone to get us where we're meant to be.

I’ve taught classes of real estate newbies that they’re going to make mistakes.  That it’s not all bad because we will learn from them . And that you are not foolish to make them . You are only a fool if you fall back in the hole a 2nd or 3 rd time !  ……….
