Flower Mound TX Landscaping

Landscaping gardening is something I do myself. I began to reevaluate the worth and beauty of my home the day I made a commitment to purchase and pay off my mortgage on time not only for an investment in home ownership, but also from nature's point of view.

When I begin to dig dirt on my hands and knees I'm already thinking about distance, height, and whether or not I have good soil. I prefer perennials but I don't turn a blind eye to annuals, especially if they grab my attention. All plants have value to butterflies and bees. I imagine what it's like to see through a bee or butterfly eyes.

Native plants are a win-win for my Flower Mound Garden. The colors I choose have value too. I find that plants establish themselves faster when I buy them at a reputable nursery. The secret to growing plants in a Flower Mound Garden is to be mindful of getting your plants needs met. I never use fertilizer, nor will I overwater or underwater. I don't use pesticides either. For pedals sake, I am attentive to my flowers in my Flower Mound Garden.

When I drive around the neighborhood, I try to imagine what other homes would look like if only people were willing to try a Flower Mound Garden. Whether a homeowner chooses plants, shrubs, trees, or a variety, outdoor landscaping attracts people, butterflies, bees, and ladybugs too. In my mind I can visualize how much landscaping improves curb appeal and the value of home ownership to a prospective buyer.

The advantages of a row of trees on larger lots may absorb the sound of the wind, creating a shelter for birds. On small lots, I don't recommend a row of trees because it can lead to foundation issues but spaced right, a good distance from the house and knowing where to plant and not plant to interfere with plumbing and underground utilities is very smart to know before you dig.  When in doubt, use a pot.

A combination of a variety of colorful plants and texture of leaves creates an interesting contrast. The placement of where to plant is very important too. People and regular service providers in the neighborhood take notice and easily puts a smile on their faces too. A few days ago, I noticed the Postal Service person was parked in front of my house. I went outside to ask if she needed any help. The driver said to me. Your flower garden already helped. I was having a bad day. And now I'm happy. And I thought to myself, flowers, plants, and trees, really do create harmony!
