Today its predicted to be 108 degree's in Sonora, its only 7:15 am as I write and its already hot.

I'm planning my real estate day and it seems that any more its not only knowing what your going to do, but I find with the price of gas, I plan my daily and weekly routes.

I go to the bank and escrow company and lunch on the same trip, I prospect by taking a walk within the downtown.

The prospecting downtown, as I will meet and greet and the question of real estate always comes up.

As an example on one of those downtown walks the local city administrator for the city of Sonora was having lunch with his son, we stopped talked and he told me that he may want to find an investment property. We found a home that was listed for $225,000 and we picked it up for $171,000.

I also pay visits to local attorney's both for real estate and mediation connections at least once a month, this will always bring business in the future.

In my 32 years in the real estate business, I had a first experience. I closed a difficult transaction and the BUYERS after close of escrow handed me $500 dollars. I was shocked and refused the $$$$ and they insisted saying that I did a good job.

I will use the funds with a mini vacation with my 17 year old daughter this weekend. At 17 I'm sure my days are limited that she still wants to hang around with her 58 year old dad.  Oh well, I will take every opportunity that I get.

I'm sure on this Hot Day, I will find a golden opportunity.

Jim- That the savor here it is a dry heat and its impacting Northern California, as you have read about the California fires, California from North to South has hundreds of active fires and last night the air smelled liked I was standing next to a wood burning stove. Most of the fires were started by lighting.
