Every July 3rd, the Town of Addison celebrates our nation's birth with an evening of fun, food, and fireworks with an event we call KaboomTown. This year, 2024, is the 40th celebration of our nationally rated** celebration of freedom.
While the action centers around the 12-acre Addison Circle Park, fireworks and the airshow, (with take-offs from and landings at the Addison Airport) all can be seen from anywhere in the 4.4 square-mile town. The 17,000 resident population of Addison swells to more than a half-million people from across the continent to witness KaboomTown. And the 200+ restaurants and 22 hotels host watch parties for those who choose to watch from outside the park.
Tickets are limited and range from $10 for everyone 10 and older, to $5 for kids. They are available at addisonkaboomtown.com and are required for park entry.
