Flamingos are remarkable birds known for their vibrant pink plumage and long, graceful legs. Here are some interesting facts about them:

Wading and Swimming:
- Flamingos have long legs, allowing them to wade into much deeper water than most other birds.
- Their webbed feet support them on soft mud, making it easier for them to stand in shallow water.
- When the water is beyond their wading depth, flamingos can swim at the surface while feeding.
- Although they can swim for short distances, they prefer to wade in shallow water
