It is day 23 of my 30 day Blog Series and I just came in the house from working on my daughters table in the garage to regain my composure.
Yes , you read that right...even old positive Mike can get frustrated and this morning was one of them.
It started well as we had a great breakfast of eggs, bacon, and pancakes and then off to the garage I went to work on mulitple projects.
It quickly went sideways as both projects went wrong in a hurry!
I am having trouble making the new drawers work the way I want and have torn the table top off so I can get better access to the innards of the table.
For some reason...after taking 1/4 inch of one piece...it is tighter now than it was before. In theory that seems to be impossible as the hole is bigger, right?
I must have put the bottom guide back in wrong and thus the setback.
So I will enjoy the a/c for a while and go back out this evening when it cools down...it was 91 in the garage when I came in.
A beautiful day to be at the lake or river...but not to be in garage without A/C.
On another subject, my favorite Frigidaire refrigerator that we bought 35 years ago and that has been a great garage fridge since 1999 is possibly on its last leg as I noticed last night things were not at the right temp and after cleaning coils, etc, it appears to only want to cool to 35 in the freezer section and 48 in the fridge section.
Looks like we will be buying a new fridge for the kitchen very soon.
The fridge in the house has been a great one and I love it...but it is also showing a lot of age and wear and tear so I suspect a new stove and fridge are in our very near future!! Robyn has been hinting about a new stove as well as the current one is 23+ years old.
And the current garage fridge will find its way to the appliance recyclers.
If Anyone has had great success in the last few years with a roughly 30+ cu ft side by side fridge with water let me know the brand/model. It seems a lot of the new ones have issues and I hope to have this next fridge for another 20 years!!
And no new updates on Mama Robin or babies as have not seen them yet today.
Until Next time...Keep those items that need to be cold...Cold! Mike
