I was just reading a Forbes article titled "When is the best time send marketing emails". A pretty good read actually and a topic in which I never really thought about before.
Here are my 'takeaways' from this article and the studies within:
- Retired individuals are apt to respond and read emails in the early evenings
- Monday's are considered the most 'open', meaning emails are apt to be opened more on a Monday
- Friday's are the BEST days for clicks and conversions
- Saturday's are the WORST days
- The best times to send a marketing email is at 2pm or 8pm
- Tips on having your email opened: enticing subject line, optimize email for mobile, and segmenting your list to specific audiences.
Here is the article if interested in reading the whole thing. Some great tips for those of us that use email marketing campaigns! Good luck!
