I moved to the Philadelphia Main Line back in 1990 with my young family. A lot has changed since then, prices are much higher, interest rates fell and have now climbed higher. There are multiple places to live, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and further afield Bucks and Berks Counties, even Lancaster County is not that far away.
School Districts can be important to buyers, so we can search by School district as well, because quality of schooling can be subjective it is best if you do your own research using sites like Niche.com. Likewise, if you are worried about security contacting the local police can help you analyze how safe a neighborhood may be.
We have many historic places and towns in our area, from Valley Forge National Park, where the photo above was taken early one morning, which provides plenty of opportunities for hiking, walking and exercise. If golf is your game we have many award winning courses in our area.
Prices have been rising over the last few years as we have seen a reduction year by year of properties for sale, even as interest rates have risen recently prices have continued to rise as well due to the demand for housing in this area.
Commuting by road and rail is good due to good infrastructure being in place, Philadelphia Airport is easy to access with national and international flights and airlines making use of it, and we now have new options from Wilmington and other local airports with smaller airlines like Avelo from Wilmington.
