Keep in touch with past clients!

Today was a rainy day in Massachusetts so I took hold of the day and started to purge some of my emails, purge/file/handled papers on my desk, and a whole other slew of tasks that got put by the wayside.  Feel so great to be organized and on top of just about everything. Excellent day in the office!

I came across this Christmas card that I kept as a reminder to myself to ALWAYS keep in touch with clients.  Here is a picture of the card. Now this buyer was NOT my client.  The seller was.  I did, however, send her a congratulations card when she closed, and I've kept in touch every year with happy home anniversary cards, Christmas cards as well as being part of my 'sphere of influence' mailing list. 

When I read her card, I knew I was doing something right!  Consistency is key and I've been doing my handwritten cards and mailings consistently for years!  It does pay off.  I always have a pipeline and I truly believe it's because I keep in touch!

Keeping in touch with past clients is always a Top Priority! 

Isn't it wonderful to find a lovely note card like the one you shared when you weren't even looking. It really does serve as a reminder just how important you are to your previous clients and how important is is to keep them in your thoughts by reciprocating often?

Hello Kelly - it's interesting how reminders often seem to surface at times most appropriate.  Whether it's rain or shine, real estate is a contact business.  And while it is not a game, there are similarities to sports.
