Affordable Health Insurance???

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Greenville Central

I worked with a company for 12 years and had great insurance. I never thought I would have to worry about about my healthcare needs until I was laid off in October 2007. Now I work part-time as an admin with CR&P. Being in the position that I am now, I do not have the opportunity for healthcare coverage. My husband is self-employed and he does not have insurance either.

We have been searching for some affordable health insurance that will meet our needs, but it really is quite expensive. It was so much easier when it was provided by my employer! Any ideas for affordable health insurance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Connie.. I WISH I could give you some advice.  I've been looking for years.  Either I can find it and it is VERY EXPENSIVE.. or it doesn't meet my needs.. and I would be paying for something I wouldnt' use.

Being a single mom, this is a BIG concern of mine.  If you find out anything let me know.  Thank you.

HAve you tried Assurant?  They seem to advertise this all the time on TV.  We are also self-employed and have Aetna.  I don't know if that is available in your area or not.
