Home sales in Alabaster Alabama dropped in June 2008 to 39 closed sales from a high of 52 homes closing in both April and May of 2008. The average salesprice was $183,570 with sales ranging from $92,000 for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhome in Applegate to $514,900 for a 4 bedroom, 3.5 home in the Sterling Gate. The median price was $162,900. The average days on the market for sold properties was 59.20. Inventory continues to increase and currently there are 452 properties on the market which represents an 11.69 month supply.
