Friday Flags A Giant Sized Flag in Cheshire CT

I pass a Cheshire CT business often, House of Doors, where one can buy any type of replacement door imaginable. They have a rather large guardian that doubles as their flagpole.

This Paul Bunyan statue was once one of the many story images that lined the entrance of the old Danbury Fairgrounds, long since replaced by a mall, that may not be the heathiest with the online shopping reality we live in today.

He does get noticed on his resent spot and I will give a quick wave when I pass by, probably more so for the flag.

Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 - I read your mention of Short Sales. Are they already starting in your area? I keep getting offers to sign up for classes. Of course, I did that when 2008 and was certifiend then. It was a bad year for many people in need, but I haven't seen or heard of anyone facing foreclosures yet.

Patricia Feager, ABR,CRS,GRI,MRP Short sales are a niche of mine and I have done a lot of them but over the last few years, they are scarce. With the appreciation in values, sellers have been able to get out of their homes and avoid the stigma.

I had one short sale listing that the buyer wanted the house so badly that they paid off a $29,000 credit card lien on the house for the sellers.
