What is Generative BI???

We have been discussing various aspects of Artificial Intelligence lately...we have another Zoom call Tuesday the 16th at 02:00 PM EDT!! Lately, people have been asking me about generative BI.

Generative BI is a combination of Generative (AI) and BI. BI means Business Intelligence and the term has been around for a long time. Recently, many started utilizing the term Generative BI.

Essentially, when you combine generative AI with BI you have artificial intelligence together with business analysis. Fancy term for a common use for AI. Naturally Generative BI is being promoted extensively as something new when it really isn't.

I am not saying that it has no value...it just depends upon the AI model being utilized and the analysis being performed...as well has WHO or what is performing the analysis.

Ed, those trying to monetize AI keep changing things so I try to keep everyone abreast of the changes!!! Also trying to separate truth from fiction!!!

We are forming our own AI group in the Rain....by Thursday....it will be useful to join it for learning, feedback etc

Hi Paddy- I love what I'm learning in your Zoom presentations!!! Today I learned the importance of prompts. You're right...the more you use it and see what AI generates, the more we'll understand how important our input is.
