👨‍💼FSBO - No Good

We have a rainy day in Maryland.

The stress has been increased due to the change in the way fees are handled.

Most people do not realize how much work goes into selling a home. Ironically, we have a friend who sold and bought homes without a realtor who has just become a realtor. Not sure she sees the hypocrisy of that.

Wow Brian, I guess there are FSBO out there but I do not see the signs like I use to 20 years ago.  FSBO people need to learn from their mistakes.

Sellers who try to sell their home usually end up seeking advice from a REALTOR because they have no clue all the work that goes into it and all the knowledge one needs to get a transaction to the closing table.

Brian just about everyone I know who has been involved in a FSBO transaction has ended up wishing they had used a Realtor.

By the way, FSBO Seller, if I bring you a buyer, I will get paid. Maybe by you.

Brian, even as a Real Estate agent, I did not sell my own house.  I knew better than getting my emotions involved.  m

I so agree with you, not only do they need to learn to negotiate the price, terms, disclosures now add the commission to the mix and the litigious ways people are now they better have a seasoned Realtor on their side or they will be paying dearly at the other end, Endre
