I’ve been here nearly 13 years, but alas, it’s time to say goodbye. I’m semi-retired and ready to turn my energies to this next phase of life.
But first, a big thank you to all. What a glorious group of people gather here! You’re smart, witty, kind and full of goodwill for our industry. It has been an enriching experience to say the least. I remember being in shock when I first realized that someone was actually reading what I wrote! I leave you ranked #1 in my city of La Mesa, CA and very proud of my 360 posts, 21 of which were featured, and the fact that those posts have had nearly 600,000 views. Small potatoes by the standards of some leaders here, but nonetheless numbers that warm my heart.
You made me think, solve problems, and work on my skills as a writer. Because of you, I turned many of my blog posts into a book. The desire and perseverance to write was encouraged by your comments, advice and the example of discipline set by so many of you. And that’s a gift I take with me.
So, what’s next? Besides spending more time with my children and 9 fascinating grandchildren, I’m back at the computer, writing. I just completed a screenplay in honor of my BFF’s 70th birthday and have a first novel in the works with plans for a sequel. It’s all rather intimidating and exciting.
And yes, I’m still enjoying real estate and have kept my brokerage open for referrals. So, if there is any way I can help you in San Diego, please don’t hesitate to give me a call 😊
Thank you and goodbye my friends. I send my best wishes for a lifetime of health, happiness and fulfillment of your dreams.
