There are plenty of people who might agree with Titus the guinea pig but having experienced the life of long naps lately (due to health issues) I have to disagree.
I like working. Like the farmer pictured above, a good days work can make me smile. Most of all I like a sense of accomplishment.
God made us to work. The first job he assigned to anyone was for Adam to tend his (Gods) garden in a place called Eden. What a GREAT job... keeping in mind that at that time everything was perfect. No weeding, no biting insects, no sunscreen needed. And then of course Adam and Eve blew it and now we all toil away with the many weeds in our of lives. Still, weeds and biting insects aside I feel it a privilege to work. As you go through your day today I hope you are seeing it as a privilege to serve others.
