This Week…Patience
This week seemed to whiz by. It was one of our first weeks with sunny days (though hot and humid) and no rain!!
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
John Quincy Adams
While out, I was amazed at the debris (huge trees) from Beryl still waiting to be hauled away.
Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau
We learned, after speaking with someone at the Preserve where we walk, that even those in the county parks etc have to wait their turn for the heavy equipment needed to remove the huge trees. Let’s hope the rain stays away so that everyone can do their jobs.
He that can have patience can have what he will.
Benjamin Franklin
And, speaking of Rain and patience, we’ve had to exercise an abundance of that this week. It’s not the first time, and I suspect that it will not be the last. However the ActiveRain Development team always comes through.
The Rain is a community that is unlike any other. I am forever grateful to the relationships I’ve made. That said, when it goes WONKY, there is still life and work to do.
Beware the fury of a patient man.
John Dryden
Have a wonderful weekend!
