A Sort of Seinfeldian Shift. . .

I liked his tv show, it was very entertaining, but outside of that, I don't know much about Jerry Seinfeld, haha.

There has to be a special person in Seinfeld. How else would you look at a person that made a lot of money for a lot of years with a show about  nothing.

My son and wife love Jerry Seinfeld! They even have the kids watch some of the old episodes (there are some they won't let them watch) to expose them to the humor of the show. I'm getting them the book "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."

Hi Michael- while I was never a fan of the show, I do like his comedy. I’ve seen his Riding in Cars  so this book sounds like something I’d enjoy

Michael, I am probably one of few that never watched Seinfeld, just couldn't get into it.

It takes a special human being to get up in front of a crowd and tell jokes you wrote. He is one of the greats (as is Gervais).

Good morning, Michael... I'm afraid that Joan Cox and I are twinning in this regard. I know virtually nothing about Seinfeld, tuned into his show once and tuned out after 15 minutes. Give me George Carolin, Rodney Dangerfield, any day. Of course, now I've totally dated myself!

I only watched the Seinfeld show a few times but I do enjoy his humor. The book sounds entertaining, at least if the title means anything. And I could use some fresh reading material...

Hi Michael!  Seinfeld is a gas!  And that's no pun intended!  I have seen a few clips of his talks in cars and they were kind of interesting.  Not so much that I kept watching.....but the book sounds like fun!  Something different to think about....and wander down that path for  a bit.  Fun!

Good morning Michael! Had a blast watching Seinfeld and the crazy crew that made me laugh through every episode. Jerry is quite the comedic genius and Ricky Gervais is one who pushes boundaries and I still enjoy his monologue at the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards, truth be told!

Reading is a necessary daily routine for me, so might just purchase Jerry's book.

Everyone can use more laughter in their lives, Michael Jacobs, it is indeed a gift. Thanks for  the book review and also bringing back memories of the Seinfeld show and some of the antics and silly situations that brought about belly laughs!

Was and still am a Seinfeld fan....more the show than the comedian himself. I really enjoyed the Cars Coffee series. 

Michael Jacobs - that joke at the end is hilarious! I always liked Seinfeld. When I worked in the Corporate World, I didn't have the money to buy a TV but the guys in the office that I reported to obviously were not deprived. From week to week they began their day, after the lastest Jerry episode and talked about it. By the time I was able to get a T.V. I started watching the reruns and knew why the guys I worked with loved it so much and had their weekly water cooler laughter.  

Your story just inspired me. I have a dear friend who I knew because of the RE business. The last time I saw her was when I gave her husband's Eulogy at the RE Board. Recently, we reconnected and I learned the devasting/fatal news about her son. She's having a rough time. I'm going to buy that book you suggested and ask her if she'd like to take a road trip with me because I know, she really needs to cut loose, laugh a little, and we can stop at coffee shops along the way. If she agrees, I'll buy a copy of the book for her too.

Know your audience and random creative ways to keep the members in it engaged. Jerry Seinfeld is a master Michael Jacobs. Now have that bass line theme in my head.
