Goodbye Debby First Threat of the Season to The Villages in the Books

By

We dodged the brunt of the storm as Debby decided to go north and spare The Villages.  We got a lot of rain, some pretty good wind gust and spotty power outages.  Our local social media groups were busy giving reports where they lost power and rain totals between 5” to 7”.  Only thing we have is some small branches from our oak trees and other landscaping clean up.  For us a good time to clean the patio and lanai and put things back together.

Thanks to Debby we now have a scale to use for approaching stormsDick’s Lanai Furniture”.  There is only three, Not Worried about Lanai Furniture, Thinking about Moving Lanai Furniture and Moving Lanai Furniture.  Sorry yesterday I went through all three in a hurry which can happen with these storms.  I see we have a new yellow blob in the Caribbean Sea, welcome to Hurricane Season.

Good morning Dick. Rain and wind has played havoc for many areas. My friends in Ft. Myers had rising water but little flooding. My friends in Savannah are based for the rain and winds to come and have completed the "move lanai furniture" stage. Enjoy your day.

It is good to see that you had no major damage from the hurricane.

Glad all is well, Dick. I like your patio furniture scale for hurricanes. It reminded me of having to shelter 100 orchids when a hurricane was approaching and telling myself "Do not buy another orchid!"
